This painting is inspired by a statue that I came across in a quiet pocket park in Paris. On a busy day, I stumbled into a little refuge of trees and ferns and quiet beauty. A bird landed upon a lovely lady statue and the moment took my breath away. She was the "Lady in the Wood." 

Print 3: Lion in the Ferns. "Lion in the Ferns" is a strong and serene statue guardian of the Garden. The tranquil sounds of water and the lion's gaze bring focus to this moment. 

Print 4: Her Swing. "Her Swing" is inspired by the novel The Secret Garden and the innocence of childhood. The swing represents a sweet forgetfulness of worldly cares and a freedom to recapture this feeling, and even to connect with those who loved the swing in the past.
